The Project

As an experienced Ground Works Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the groundworks on a large the site in South Leeds.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following qualifications or experience as a minimum;

* SMSTS (Beneficial but not essential
* 2 years' experience as Groundworks Supervisor
* Be able to write and keep daily diary/record sheets
* Site Supervisor experience
* Be able to supervise a team Confident in taking information from drawings
* A good knowledge of Groundworks

The Role

* Reporting to: Construction Manager

Duties

* Overall Groundworks Supervising.
* Setting out and coordinating the groundwork.
* Checking that materials, plant, equipment and labour are on site to meet with contract and programme requirements.
* Monitor and produce good quality of work.
* Ensuring that safety plans and method statements are adhered to onsite by all operatives and sub-contractors.
* Ensure there is a safe system of work in the place for all site activities and that safety equipment is provided at the correct time.
