Site Manager

The Project

Site Manager on an Education Refurbishment in Glasgow. The requirement is from Thursday 13th April 2023 and is scheduled to run for 3 weeks on days (8am - 6pm)

The Role

You will be responsible for overseeing a group of subcontractors completing the final stages of a refurbishment of an existing nursery in Glasgow.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

As the Site Manager you must possess the following;

* 2 Years + experience managing fit out / refurbishment projects as a Site Manager (Essential)
* Enhanced DBS (Essential)
* SMSTS (Essential)
* CSCS Card (Essential)
* 3 Day First Aid (Essential)
* Ideally from a Joinery background (Desirable)

Duties

* Overseeing and managing the wider site team
* Prepared to be "hands on" as required
* Communicate effectively with the client, sub - contractors and senior management team
* Responsible for the successful completion and handover of all works on site
* Lead the general running of site activities
* Coordinating handovers and sign offs
* Update and check against the construction Programme
* Preparation of site documents such as work orders and purchase orders etc
