Our client specialises in the repair and maintenance of buildings, structures and highways. With over 50 year's experience in their field, they are trusted and well respected throughout the UK.



The Project

As a Site Engineer, you will carry out work on a number of large projects and frameworks.



Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* First Aid
* CSCS Card
* Driving Licence
* HNC or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

For this role it is essential that you hold the skills & experience below;

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* 1 year + Site Experience

The Role

* Location: West Midlands - Birmingham
* Duration: Permanent
* Reporting to: Senior Engineer and Project Manager



Duties



* Ordering Materials
* Supervising Works
* To attend Team Briefs
* Facilitate agreement of variations
* Attend in-house progress meetings
* Setting up and maintaining site control
* Setting Out Sites and Organising Facilities
* Ensuring compliance with works standards
* Setting out of roads, sewers and structures
* Organise and supervise temporary works when required
* Undertaking Land, Stockpile and Construction Work Surveys
* Checking and Preparing Site Reports, Designs and Drawings
* Liaising With Clients, Subcontractors and Other Professional Staff
* Organising labour and plant and materials for a number of projects
