The Project

As an experienced Setting Out Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out works across the site in Whitby.



For this project you are required to pass a medical to ensure you are fit to work.



To get to the site you will need to take a 20-minute shuttle bus from Ruswarp.



The role will also include a 2-day induction.



Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following qualifications or experience as a minimum;

* First Aid
* CSCS Card
* Driving Licence
* 3 years' experience as a Setting out Engineer / Site Engineer

It is also desired that you hold the skills & experience below;

* SMSTS
* Experience of AUTOCAD
* Minimum of a HND in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering subject

Duties

* Quality checking
* Attend site meetings
* Setting up and maintaining site control
* Setting Out Sites and Organising Facilities
* Ensuring compliance with works standards
* Setting out of roads, sewers and structures
* Undertaking Land, Stockpile and Construction Work Surveys
* Checking and Preparing Site Reports, Designs and Drawings
