Site Manager Groundworks
The Company
An established Groundworks company which has been in business since 2007. They work across Yorkshire & The Humber, North West & North East working on multi-million-pound projects.
The Project
Completing the groundworks for a large new build site in Leeds City Centre. You will lead the groundworks from inception to completion and ensure that all works are completed to specification, in budget and on time.
Requirements
For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;
* SMSTS
* First Aid
* Black CSCS Card
It is also essential that you hold the experience & skills below;
* Previous experience as a number one on site
* Experience overseeing groundworks as a site manager
* Track record of delivering projects on time and within a safe cost-effective manor
The Role

* Duration: Freelance Contracts - 2 Months Minimum
* Reporting to: Project Manager
Duties
* Progress Reporting
* Updating Site Diaries
* Inductions / Toolbox Talks
* Management of onsite labour
* Chair and attend site meetings
* Quality Inspections / Snagging
* Ordering / Receiving of materials
* Negotiate with vendors & suppliers
* Maintain Health & Safety standards on site
* Carry out programme and budget evaluations
* Attending and Participating in Project meetings
* Reporting in to and working closely with the Senior Management Team and end client
