A leading West Yorkshire based Main Contractor that specialises in delivering industrial, retail, commercial and residential projects across Yorkshire. They have an exceptional history of delivering projects up to £20m.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

For this role you must possess the following;

* Min 5 years+ experience in construction health and safety
* NEBOSH General / Construction Certificates.
* Appropriate experience with a technical and practical knowledge relating to construction health & safety with a sound working knowledge of CDM 2015, to assist in the preparation & implementation of H&S Management, (Construction) Safe Systems of Work, including site management systems & structured audit processes.
* A confident and experienced approach to Accident / Incident Investigation and reporting with ability to identify root cause and effect prevention measures.
* Knowledge of H&S within the Construction industry is essential.

The Role

As the Health and Safety Manager you will undertake H&S duties across multiple sites from minor works projects to full refurbishments and new builds. You will have an integral role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the onsite teams.

Duties

* Site visiting auditing / site H&S support
* Implementation and communication of health and safety policies
* Risk management
* Maintenance of SSIP accreditations & ISO:45001
* Site auditing Standards and the preparation and delivery of health & safety in-house training requirements
* Undertaking accident investigation and creating reports and associated documents
* Creating and assessing RAMS
* Report to the construction director on health and safety and assist with H&S policies
