P'Way Construction Manager


The Company

Our client is a well-established company in the infrastructure construction industry. The company has over 12 of experience in the sector and employs over 300 personnel across the United Kingdom and Ireland, with a turnover in excess of £30m.

The Project

As an experienced Construction Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the P'Way project is completed to the required specifications. The project is in multiple locations so flexibility will be important for the successful candidate.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following qualifications as a minimum;

* A Valid PTS
* SSSTS / SMSTS
* A Full Valid UK Drivers License

It is also desired that you hold the skills & experience below;

* Proven experience in a leadership role
* Great communication skills both verbally & written
* 5 + years of Rail / Construction Industry experience
* Experienced in P'Way or track construction in a senior role
* Have a good understanding of track standards and processes
* Have a strong understanding of P-Way works and a proven background in track renewals
* Have a good understanding of both plain line and switches and crossings (S&C) renewals

* Reporting to: Senior Project Manager

Duties

* Work closely with the project management team and ensure all works are carried out in accordance to the budget set.
* Be a leader in promoting the correct behaviours on the project in line with all Health & Safety procedures and requirements
* Work closely with and manage where required any sub-contractors and agency suppliers
* Work with the construction teams in planning all construction works and ensure that all adequate resources including plant, labour and materials are in place.
* Manage processes to ensure all works are delivered on time and budget and deal with any issues that may arise
