The Company

A leading Main Contractor with a portfolio filled of effective refurbishment projects £5m+ which upgrade and extend the life of client's structures. Our client has been in the Construction Industry for over 55 Years', with a project portfolio spanning all corners of the UK. The company's headquarters are in London and has a turnover of £25m+.



The Project

As an experienced Project Manager, you will oversee and manage various contracts for the company in accordance with company objectives and procedures. You will lead the project from inception to completion and ensure that all works are completed to specification, in budget and on time. The main contract being a water project based in Bristol



Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* SMSTS
* CSCS Black Card
* Degree in a Civil Engineering / Construction related discipline

For this role it is essential that you hold the skills & experience below;

* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Experience in the Water industry
* Has excellent written & verbal reporting skills
* Experienced in Mechanical & Electrical packages
* Project Management experience in the Construction industry
* Knowledge of SHEQ procedures in a construction environment

Duties

* Pre-contract planning and liaison with estimators
* Planning, programming, and resourcing contracts
* Identifying tender and other financial opportunities
* Delegating duties to engineering and contracts staff
* Identifying, evaluating, and managing claims and variations
* Accepting, approving, and issuing contracts and subcontracts
* Compiling applications for payment and agreeing final accounts
* Providing quality input to regional management and planning meetings
* Managing projects to achieve financial, safety, quality, and environmental targets
* Monitor, review, issue and update subcontract liabilities, applications and payments
* Assist with supply chain (suppliers & subcontractor) approvals, assessments, and performance reviews
* Liaising, negotiating, and meeting with clients, consulting engineers, surveyors, sub-contractors and others
* Compiling contract plans, safety plans, method statements, risk assessments and other instructions to contract teams
