The Company

A market leading modular based construction group that specialises in the delivery of bespoke offices, education, healthcare and retail frameworks across the UK.

The Project

As a highly experienced Planning Manager based in West Yorkshire you will manage a successful planning team on both tender and live projects on various framework programmes including; Education, MoJ, MoD, Healthcare and Blue Chip schemes with values between £5m - £40m. You will oversee, monitor and offer advice on the preparation and updating of project programmes, tender planning, bid coordination, logistics planning and pre qualifications.

Requirements

It is essential that you hold the skills & experience below;

* Knowledge in the use of Asta Power Project / Microsoft Project
* Computer literate and commercially astute with excellent communication skills
* Experience of working as a Planning Manager on new build and refurbishment schemes with values in excess of £5m

The Role

* Job Title: Planning Manager
* Job Type: Permanent
* Projects: £5m - £40m - Various core sector projects and framework programmes including; Education, MoJ, MoD, Healthcare and Blue Chip schemes
* Reporting to: Construction Director

Duties

* Attending and presenting at proposal meetings
* Overseeing planning development plans and applications
* Advising stakeholders on planning policy and regulations
* Supervise requirement planning for department, division, project, or organization
* Communicate the projects expectations and performance measures to key stakeholders
* Prepare proposals and site plans in conformance with codes and local and national regulations
* Effectively communicate the projects planning roadmap and performance measures to stakeholders
* Develop, maintain and manage all programmes and other time related production control deliverables
* Maintaining continual professional development in accordance with the requirements of the professional institute
* Gather relevant statistical data and drafts reports on issues such as demographic information, occupancy rates, and land use
* Monitor the planning process, review project performance and progress updates against agreed targets and benchmarks. Interfacing with various stakeholders as and when required
