Senior Project Manager

The Company

A privately owned main contractor based in West Yorkshire with a track record of delivering projects ranging from £100k - £50m+ across a variety of sectors. At current, they are looking to expand their construction team as they have recently secured a high-end residential project in York.

The Role

Senior Project Manager to deliver Phase 1 consisting of £8m 30 high specification houses.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

As the Senior Project Manager, you must possess the following;

* 5+ years' experience working as a Senior Project Manager on high-end housing schemes up to £10m
* Ability to demonstrate strong commercial awareness
* Used to being involved at the preconstruction stages
* Delivering projects as standalone project lead
* SMSTS
* CSCS Black or Gold
* First Aid

Duties

* Project programming ensuring that projects can be successfully completed by the site management team
* Regular client liaising including chairing client meetings
* Ensure all company paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
* Make sure the site team adheres to the commercial policies and procedures.
* Attend tender handover sessions and provide the site team the pre-start meeting presentation
* Make progress reports, revised cost estimates, and predictions, and analyse them
* Organise and lead meetings both internally and externally, and make sure that complete records of all conversations and activities are produced.
* Ensure weekly reviews of progress, financial resources, and forward planning, are conducted
* Ensure effective Health & Safety
* Organising directly employed labour and encouraging maximum productivity.
* Liaising with surveyors, architects, and clients.
