Site Manager

The Company

A UK construction contractor with over 20 years' experience and turning over in excess of £10m per annum. They specialise in the restoration and conservation of some of the UKs most iconic historic buildings, with projects ranging in value from £1m - £5m. The experienced team use their knowledge and expertise to successfully work alongside conservation officers and heritage organisations on projects such as Grade Listed Buildings, Heritage Estates, Landmarks and Monuments.

The Project

As an experienced Freelance Site Manager you will oversee roofing and restoration works to a Grade 1 listed building in Burnley to the value of £1m. You will be No.1 on site, leading the project to ensure that works are carried out to an exceptionally high standard, in budget and on time.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* SMSTS
* First Aid
* CSCS Card

It is also required that you have the following experience / skills;

* Strong refurbishment background
* Experience of working on a listed building is advantageous but not essential

Duties

* Health & Safety
* Progress Reporting
* Updating Site Diaries
* Inductions / Toolbox Talks
* Management of onsite labour
* Chair and attend site meetings
* Quality Inspections / Snagging
* Ordering / Receiving of materials
* Carry out programme and budget evaluations
* Attending and Participating in Project meetings
* Reporting in to and working closely with the Senior Management Team and end client
