Resource Planner

Our client are an established electrical testing contractor based in the Midlands. They operate an extensive team of specialist contractors providing testing and inspection services for a wide range of clients in locations all over the country.
With workload already looking very strong for 2023, our client has identified the need to bring in a resource planner.

The successful applicant will be working from the clients head offices just north of Birmingham and managing project workload and operative availability. You will take delivery of orders and assign operatives to act upon them in a timely and efficient manner. The role is nuanced in that you will also be required to balance this need against he varying skillsets of the operatives and also their own logistical circumstances, and also travel and fuel costs.
To apply for this role, you must demonstrate the following skills and experience
* You will have held a similar role coordinating teams of operatives in an engineering, construction, maintenance or logistics environment
* You will have excellent attention to detail and an ability to handle large amounts of information concurrently
* You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be comfortable dealing over the phone or in person with clients and operatives at all levels
* You must have strong IT skills
* You must have good geographical knowledge
* You must be based local to the midlands and fully eligible to work in the UK
This position is a temporary role based just North of Birmingham. If the role proves a good match for all parties a permanent opportunity may well become available.
