The Project

As a highly experienced Senior Site Manager you will initially be based on a £10m New Build Crematorium in West Yorkshire. You will interact with both construction professionals and the client whilst managing a high pressure and busy environment.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* SMSTS
* CSCS Card

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

* Previous experience working on new build / refurbishment projects with build values in excess of £5m+

* Reporting To: Operations Director

Duties

* Progress reporting
* Chair and attend site meetings
* Conduct regular quality inspections
* Carry out programme and budget evaluations
* Liaising with the end client and key stakeholders
* Management of onsite labour and subcontractors
* Oversee and implement health & safety regulations
* Negotiate with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors
* Liaise with the commercial team on estimating costs and timeframes
