Site Manager
The Company
A growing Principal Contractor are looking to expand their operations team due to recently securing new projects in the High-Rise Apartment and Accommodation sectors across the North West.
The Role
A Site Manager working as part of the management team on a £10 million New build apartment project in central Manchester. You will report directly into the Project Manager who is leading the project.
Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications
As the Site Manager, you must possess the following;
* 5+ years' experience working as a Site Manager
* Prior experience working on residential / Student Accommodation projects
* Prior experience of working on new build projects (£1 million - £15 million)
* Demonstrate knowledge in the full construction process including (foundations, drainage, steelwork, concrete & cladding)
* SMSTS
* CSCS Black or Gold
* 3-day First Aid
Duties
* Manage the schemes from concept to completion and ensure that the pre-development and construction process is effectively, safely and efficiently managed
* Manage and mitigate potential risk
* Responsibly requesting of labour, plant and materials and maintaining through to completion
* Managing the site environment
* Supervise the completion of schemes including the management of variations and snags
* Health and Safety files to be compliant through daily maintenance
* Adhere to the permits to work for site specific activities
* Contribute to the protection of site individuals as well as general public
* Review and implement RAMS
* Prepare progress reports, monitor programmes, and sign off quality documents
* Ensure that induction is rigorously carried out and records completed
