A highly regarded Main Contractor with a track record of delivering high quality projects in a variety of different sectors including healthcare, logistics and education with values up to £1.5m.
The Role
Contracts Manager overseeing multiple fast paced projects in live environments for Universities, Healthcare, Local Authority, Logistics / Distribution around West Midlands.
Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications
As the Contracts Manager, you must possess the following;
* 5+ years' experience working as a Contracts Manager on small works frameworks (£100k - £1.5m)
* Previous experience working in a fast-paced construction environment
* Construction related qualification (HNC / HND / NVQ Etc.) - desired, not essential
Duties
* Managing multiple projects in live environments
* Work collaboratively with other Project Managers to ensure schemes are appropriately resourced
* Allocate site supervision in accordance with scheme complexity
* Identify and on-board new subcontractors to support the business growth agenda
* Undertake comprehensive supplier reviews
* Identify cost saving opportunities and develop operational plans for implementation
* Develop a strategy to drive consistency & improve quality of delivery
* Ensure all work is carried out in a safe, efficient manner and in compliance with company specification
