The Project

Overseeing commercial packages on various new build and refurbishment projects across sectors such as MoD, MoJ, Healthcare, Education, Commercial and Residential with values in excess of £100m+

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* HNC/HND or Degree equivalent level qualification

It is also essential that you hold the skills & experience below;

* Superb negotiation capabilities
* Excellent sales and presentation skills
* Ability to multitask and prioritise projects
* Strong communication and attention to details
* Extensive background, 5 years minimum with a proven track record of success on major projects with a proven Major Main Contractor or Subcontractor

* Project: Various new build and refurbishment projects across sectors such as MoD, MoJ, Healthcare, Education, Commercial and Residential with values in excess of £100m+

Duties

* Able to delegate successfully
* Maintain and expand supply chain relationships
* Offer useful feedback to project teams and individuals
* The ability to encourage a team to achieve one common goal
* Internal reporting and monitoring of trade contractors on projects
* Confidence in presentation and the skill to lead high level meetings
* Maintain sustainable and productive relationships with existing clients
* To be able to interrogate the design to drive top value and efficiencies
* Must be able to remain composed and focused in complicated situations
* Develop accurate and consistent bids with the help of relevant departments
* Manage the team to ensure Project and Procurement proceeds competently
* Able to rapidly deal with conflict or issues that could affect the performance of the team
* Must be organised and prioritise own work to deliver on time through organization of time efficiently
* Support/guide pre-construction procurement in relationships with the projects senior leadership team
* Identify opportunities to expand the business, including through partnerships, mergers and new markets
* Increase and grow optimistic relationships with clients and client professional
