The Project

As an experienced Site Engineer on this prestigious Nuclear Power Plant based in Cumbria, you will be ensuring that design specifications are met to safely deliver one of Europe's largest engineering projects.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following Qualifications / Tickets as a minimum;

* CSCS Card
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering

It is also desired that you hold the skills & experience below;

* 3 Years+ experience in a site engineering role working with
* Hands on experience on heavy civil projects prior to this contract

The Role

* Reporting to: Project Manager

Duties

* Drainage
* Marking out repair areas
* Setting out where necessary
* Create as built surveys and log data
* Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork
* Management of onsite labour including subcontractors
* Provide progress updates to the senior management team
* Use of and responsibility for engineering software / equipment
* Liaising with site management when ordering of materials and plants
* Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
* Operate, manage and have full responsibility for all setting out equipment / software - minimum expectations are EDM and Electronic Levelling equipment, enabling transfer/interpretation of CAD information
