Freelance Finishing Supervisor

The Project

As an experienced Finishing Supervisor working on a Sports and Leisure Facility in the West Midlands you will be overseeing the internal fit out and finishing on the £20m development. You will manage all internal trades and ensure that the project is finished and handed over to a high standard.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* SMSTS
* First Aid
* CSCS Card

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

* Previous experience working on similar projects
* Highly experienced in managing / supervising internal trades and subcontractors

The Role

* Job Title: Finishing Supervisor
* Project: £20m Sports and Leisure Facility
* Duration: 6 Months
* Reporting to: Project Manager

Duties

* Quality Control
* Maintain health & safety
* Supervise subcontractors
* Quality inspections / snagging
* Ordering / receiving of materials
* Take the lead on updating site diaries
* Attending and participating in project meetings
* Take responsibility of Inductions / toolbox talks
* Ensure that Progress reporting is overseen regularly
* Management of onsite labor including subcontractors
* Ensure work is being completed on time and within budget
* Managing all internal trades and overseeing finishing and snagging
* Reporting in to and working closely with the senior management team
