A market leading modular based construction group that specialises in the delivery of bespoke offices, education, healthcare and retail frameworks across the UK.



The Project

Visiting various new build education, commercial, retail, healthcare, MoD and MoJ developments with build values up to £50m+



Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* SMSTS
* First Aid
* CSCS Card

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

* Excellent time management skills
* Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
* Previous experience of working on similar value new build / refurbishment projects
* At least 5 years of experience in delivering large scale new build / refurbishment projects in a senior / site engineer position

Duties

* Quality Assurance
* Setting out
* Site Setup
* Health & Safety
* Progress Reporting
* Updating Site Diaries
* Inductions / Toolbox Talks
* Chair and attend site meetings
* Quality Inspections / Snagging
* Ordering / Receiving of materials
* Set up Hoarding lines for new sites
* Drainage levels and as built to drawing
* Foundation checking to ensure line and level
* Carry out programme and budget evaluations
* Attending and Participating in Project meetings
* Set up and mark out underground existing services
* Negotiate with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors
* Management of onsite labour including subcontractors
* Set up Datums for internal works such as doorway openings
* Plot new building layout out to enable master logistics planning
* Check any access road through dilapidation reports for existing levels
* Set up cabin layout and foundation and associated temporary services
* Building line and level during placing of Modules and setting out façade trades
* Assist the site teams in the management of the Temporary works and setting out
* Reporting in to and working closely with the Senior Management Team and end client
* Using Field View for record keeping of any quality issues and monitor closure of same
* Develop temporary works packages for each project and assist in associated setting out
* Set up Datums and lines for façade trades and then check mid-point through construction
* Assist in checking design drawings for drainage and external areas to highlight any issues
