Finishing Manager


The Company

A market leading principle contractor offering complete construction solutions across the UK; they have an impressive private and public portfolio of major industrial, civil, rail and leisure developments with build values in excess of £120m. Our client is a strongly cash positive business with a healthy track-record of profit growth and an annual turnover in excess of £600m. They are a highly awarded contractor with a number of industry awards and accreditations.



The Project

A £75m New Build Extension on one of England's Largest Stadia Developments in Liverpool. As an experienced Finishing Manager will be overseeing the high-end finish of the hospitality areas and executive suites. You will manage all internal trades and ensure that the project is finished and handed over to an exceptionally high standard.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* SMSTS
* First Aid
* CSCS Card

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

* Minimum of 10-15 years' experience
* Background of high-end joinery / fit out / shopfitting

Additional skills;

* High attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong management experience and able to manage a number of direct staff and subcontractors

The Role

* Job Title: Finishing Manager
* Job Type: Permanent

* Reporting to: Project Manager

Duties

* Maintain health & safety
* Supervise subcontractors
* Quality inspections / snagging
* Ordering / receiving of materials
* Take the lead on updating site diaries
* Attending and participating in project meetings
* Take responsibility of Inductions / toolbox talks
* Ensure that Progress reporting is overseen regularly
* Management of onsite labor including subcontractors
* Ensure work is being completed on time and within budget
* Managing all internal trades and overseeing finishing and snagging
* Reporting in to and working closely with the senior management team
