The Company
A privately owned Main Contractor based in West Yorkshire with a track record of being a large employer within the local area. At current, they operate across multiple sectors including Industrial, Commercial & Retail with projects valued from £100k - £3m+.
Requirements
For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;
* Previous / current hands-on trade background (Carpentry / Joinery)
* At least 2 years of experience in site supervision
* First Aid
* CSCS Card
* SMSTS Certificate
The Role
As the Site Manager you are responsible for overseeing and delivering refurbishment projects ranging in value (£100k - £3m+)
Duties
* Manage the schemes from concept to completion and ensure that the pre-development and construction process is effectively, safely and efficiently managed
* Manage and mitigate potential risk
* Responsibly requesting of labour, plant and materials and maintaining through to completion
* Managing the site environment
* Supervise the completion of schemes including the management of variations and snags
* Health and Safety files to be compliant through daily maintenance
* Adhere to the permits to work for site specific activities
* Contribute to the protection of site individuals as well as general public
* Review and implement RAMS
* Prepare progress reports, monitor programmes, and sign off quality documents
* Ensure that induction is rigorously carried out and records completed
