The Company

A national construction contractor with regional offices in the Yorkshire and Midlands area, who provide clients with a diversity of work across a number sectors from; residential and leisure to hospitality and student accommodation. Major projects within the region range from £10m - £50m+ in value. The Project

As a highly experienced Project Manager you will initially oversee a £20m New Build Project in North Yorkshire. You will interact with both construction professionals and the client whilst managing a high pressure and busy environment.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* SMSTS
* CSCS Card

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

* Previous experience working on new build / refurbishment projects with build values in excess of £10m+ in a Project Management position

The Role

* Job Title: Project Manager
* Job Type: Permanent
* Project: £20m New Build Project, North Yorkshire
* Reporting To: Operations Director

Duties

* Monitoring and control of sub contractors
* Reliable with strong time management skills
* Conduct meetings on-site with architect, client and construction team
* Planning and monitoring works and regularly reviewing of the programme
* Planning and overall control of all site operations to ensure that the project targets are achieved
* Determine the required resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
* Organising and overseeing the site team and all construction procedures to ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner
* Fully responsible for the successful operational delivery of Projects on site ensuring safety, product quality, are completed within the contracted timescales, safely and within financial controls
* Strong leadership skills including experience in leading site teams, large programmes of work and has the confidence and ability to lead, influence and communicate with others to deliver targets
