The Project

As a highly experienced Freelance Site Manager you will be working on a £30m New Build Modular School in Northamptonshire. This is a rare opportunity to join a scheme from inception and assist in its delivery through to hand over. You will play a crucial role within the site management team and wider business to ensure the project is completed to specification, in budget and on time.



Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* SMSTS
* First Aid
* CSCS Card

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

* Good all round knowledge of construction
* Previous experience of taking a similar scheme from inception to hand over

The Role

* Job Title: Site Manager
* Duration: 18 Months
* Project: £27m New Build Modular School
* Reporting to: Project Manager

Duties

* Health & Safety
* Progress Reporting
* Updating Site Diaries
* Inductions / Toolbox Talks
* Chair and attend site meetings
* Quality Inspections / Snagging
* Ordering / Receiving of materials
* Carry out programme and budget evaluations
* Attending and Participating in Project meetings
* Negotiate with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors
* Management of onsite labour including subcontractors
* Reporting in to and working closely with the Senior Management Team and end client
