Site Engineer

A UK major main construction and engineering contractor with over 30 years experience in Civil Engineering and Building Services in both the private and public sector. They have a vast portfolio of developments and have successfully delivered projects in highway construction, deep sewer installation, cofferdams, heavy foundations, piling, jetty works and factory units, which has allowed them to provide construction solutions to some of the world's most successful and enduring businesses.
The Project
As a Site Engineer you will be accountable for providing technical guidance to the team including the Site and Project Manager on a £50m - Refinery Project on a 480 acre site in East Yorkshire. You will play a crucial role within the team and wider business to ensure that all works are continuously completed to specification, in budget and on time.
Requirements
For this role it is essential that you carry the following qualifications as a minimum;
* SMSTS
* CSCS Card
* HNC or Degree in Civil Engineering
* First Aid
It is also desired that you hold the skills & experience below;
* 3 Years+ experience in a Site Engineering role

Duties
* Drainage
* Quality checking
* Attend site meetings
* Marking out repair areas
* Reporting on site project
* Liaising with the site team
* Managing Health & Safety
* Undertake building surveys
* Overseeing engineering work
* Ordering of materials and plants
* Manage parts of the construction site
* Ensuring health and safety policies and followed
* Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork
* Liaising with the Site team to provide technical guidance
* Use of and responsibility for engineering software / equipment
* Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
