The Company

A leading Main Contractor with a portfolio filled with cost effective refurbishment projects £5m+ which upgrade and extend the life of client's structures. They have over 65 years experience in the market consistently working collaboratively with clients to build and maintain strong relations.

The Project

As an experienced Assistant Site Manager, you will be working on a Refurbishment of a Waste Water Treatment Plant in Bristol. You will provide assistance to the Senior Site Manager on a high pressure environment and will organise work schedules, update site diaries and implement safety precautions. You will play a crucial role within the site management team and wider business to ensure that all works are continuously completed to specification, in budget and on time.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following Qualifications as a minimum;

* Degree or HNC in Construction Management
* SMSTS
* CSCS
* First Aid

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

* 3 years+ experience in a Project Management role involving M&E and Water works

Duties

* QA
* Health & Safety
* Progress Reporting
* Liaising with clients
* Updating Site Diaries
* Complete Paperwork
* Inductions / Toolbox Talks
* Overseeing Subcontractors
* Ordering materials, plant and labour for site
* Manage Site Manager and the General Foreman
* Assisting in the management of onsite labour including subcontractors
* Occasionally providing cover for the Senior Site Manager when required
