Project Manager

The Company

An industry leading Principal Contractor who undertakes projects for major blue chip retail clients are recruiting for their construction division. They have recently secured an exciting new workstream for a large retailer and are offering hybrid working, which is flexible in-between home-working / office and across sites.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

For this role you must possess the following;

* 5 years + Experience as a Project / Contracts Manager
* Previous experience completing retail fit out projects
* SMSTS Site Management Safety Training Scheme
* CSCS Card

The Role

As the Project Manager, you will be reporting to the Construction Director to oversee a wide range of fit out projects within the retail industry that are valued up to £1m. You will liaise with clients alongside Site Managers during the pre-construction and construction phase of the projects.

Duties

* Managing multiple live retail fit out and refurbishments
* Work collaboratively with other Project Managers to ensure schemes are appropriately resourced
* Allocate site supervision in accordance with scheme complexity
* Undertake comprehensive supplier reviews
* Produce accurate project programmes
* produce construction phase plans
* Identify cost saving opportunities and develop operational plans for implementation
* Develop a strategy to drive consistency & improve quality of delivery
* ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget
* Ensure all work is carried out in a safe, efficient manner and in compliance with company specification
