Project Operations Manager


The Company

A leading global construction group providing technical regeneration services across the UK. Our client operates across various build sectors including: residential, education, healthcare, facilities and maintenance and upholds a strong sense of social responsibility throughout their business. They are a highly awarded contractor with a number of industry awards and accreditations.

The Project

Delivering various Critical Building Management System (BMS) / infrastructure upgrades & enhancements to commercial, retail, healthcare, education & government sector projects enabling the delivery of new smart buildings

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* NVQ Level 5, HNC / HND or higher in a Construction related field
* Project Management related qualification such as Prince2 or equivalent
* UK Driving Licence

It is also essential that you hold the skills & experience below;

* Excellent computer skills
* Strong commercial awareness
* Strong leadership & management skills
* Strong communication and attention to details
* Understanding of the FM and / or IoT market is key
* Confident and proactive in managing own work load
* Ability to multitask and prioritize projects under pressure
* Proficient use of Microsoft office including Word, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint
* Experience working as a Project Manager / Senior Project Engineer within the BEMS, Building Controls and the Building services industries in the UK marketplace

Duties

* Conduct meetings with stakeholders
* Reliable with strong time management skills
* Operate industry best practice for project management
* Anticipated Travel to sites to oversee project delivery
* Building close working relationships with the wider business team
* Establish and lead the team to deliver the agreed project outcomes
* Use of Microsoft office including word, viso, excel and powerpoint
* Planning and monitoring works and regularly reviewing of the programme
* Produce project management documentation, processes and methodologies
* Planning and overall control of all site operations to ensure
