The Project
Managing the northern sustainability team working to reduce carbon emissions on various commercial, mixed use, residential, healthcare and public framework projects with values between £40m - £300m+
Requirements
For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional training & qualifications as a minimum;
* Degree in Sustainable Construction, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction or 2 years relevant work experience
* BREEAM related training / certificate
* HQM
* WELL
It is also essential that you hold the skills & experience below;
* Excellent presentation skills
* Strong commercial awareness
* Excellent leadership & management skills
* Proficient in the use of MS Office / Outlook
* Strong communication and attention to details
* Confident and proactive in managing own work load
* Ability to multitask and prioritize projects under pressure
* Detailed understanding of industry and client sustainability requirements
* Experience in managing a Sustainability team across a number of projects
* Proven experience in delivering low carbon solutions on projects e.g., reduced embodied carbon
* Demonstrable knowledge of environmental legislation and control measures in a construction environment
* Experience working in a Sustainability position on projects with build values up to £100m+

As this is a regional role the successful candidate must live a commutable distance to one of the above office locations. This is a hybrid position with a flexible working from home / office split as an option.
Duties

* Anticipated to travel to offices / sites within the region each month
