The Project

As experienced Site Manager, you will ensure that the work is carried out on time and to the company quality standards. The work is various Environment Agency schemes across Manchester. The work will include, Formwork Reinforced Concrete, Flood Alleviation, River Dredging and more.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* First Aid
* CSCS Card (Required)
* SMSTS (Required)
* Driving Licence
* HNC or Degree in Civil Engineering or related Construction field (Ideal)

* An experienced Site Manager with a track record of delivering Environment Agency works

The Role

Duties

* Liaise with clients and stakeholders
* Update and maintain progress reports
* Executing and upholding company protocols and guidelines
* Coordinate and oversee all aspects of construction activities on site
* Identify project related issues and oversee they are solved efficiently
* Overseeing and ensuring the upkeep of site facilities and equipment
* Manage and provide support and guidance to the groundworks team
* Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring efficient progress
* Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and construction workers
* Ensure tasks are accomplished according to schedule and within financial plan
* Carry out consistent inspections to verify quality standards are significantly met
* Adhere to Health and Safety regulations, whilst upholding a secure work environment
* Manage project budgets and expenses, including procurement of materials and equipment
* Monitor work quality and ensure that construction activities meet specified standards and client expectations
* Stay in regular contact with your team, engaging in ongoing discussions about project updates and handling any issues that may arise
* Maintain precise documentation of site operations, encompassing progress updates, safety evaluations, and daily records
