They operate in various places around the UK and hold an impressive track record of delivering projects up to standard in a safely manor.

The Project

As a highly experienced Site Manager, you will play a crucial role on a new build residential development in Sunderland. Your responsibilities will include overseeing foundation works, drainage systems, retaining walls, and external areas, while managing the daily operations on site. You will coordinate with contractors and trades, enforce health and safety compliance, and monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise will be critical in maintaining high standards of quality and ensuring the project's overall success.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* SMSTS
* First Aid
* CSCS Card

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

* Proven history of successfully delivering plot work packages on residential schemes
* Extensive background in the industry with at least 5 years of experience of operating in a Site Manager position or similar for a leading contractor or subcontractor

* Competent IT / software skills
* Extensive health and safety knowledge
* Effective communication skills, verbal and written
* Ability to organise and manage project schedules
* A solid understanding of relevant regulations and standards
* Proven ability to lead, support, and direct a team effectively

* Exceptional focus on detail to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications

Duties

* On-site safety inductions
* Liaise with the principal contractor

* Handle any issues or conflicts that arise throughout the project
* Comply with health and safety regulations throughout all work operations
* Oversee package costs, maintaining alignment with the established budget
