The Project

As a highly experienced Planner, you will play a crucial role within a sustainable energy plant located in Greater Manchester, with values in excess of £480m. You will be responsible for developing and managing the project schedule, overseeing all tasks are completed efficiently and on time. Additionally, the role includes tracking project milestones, managing reporting on schedule performance, and supporting the integration of sustainable energy solutions within the overall plant design and execution plan.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* Engineering degree - desirable not essential

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

* Experience in E&I contracting and planning
* A demonstrated track record of working on a range of energy projects with values in excess of £480m
* Extensive background within the industry with at least 5 years of experience working a specialist electrical contractor
* A proven track record of delivering high quality plans and schedules on projects that were successfully delivered on time and within budget

Additional skills;

* Ability to negotiation effectively
* Strategic and analytical thinking
* Strong communication and attention to details
* Flexibility to adapt to changes and revise project plans as needed
* Proficient utilisation of project planning software Primavera P3 & P6
* Understanding of industry regulations, standards, and best practices
* Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methodologies
* Competent in utilising planning software and methodologies to develop elaborate project schedules
* Proven track record in planning and project management, preferably within the construction industry
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders
