Permanent Site Manager Role - Retail





The Company

The Project

Working as a Site Manager, you will be based anywhere in the UK working nationwide on large M&S and ASDA fit out / refurbishment schemes. You will be ensuring you deliver these projects in a timely and efficient manor, up to a high standard of work.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* SMSTS
* CSCS Black Card
* First Aid

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

* Previous experience in the retail sector
* A healthy track record of delivering large Fitout / refurbishments projects

Additional skills;

* Ability to travel
* Indicate being a team leader
* Have confidence in your role
* Strong working knowledge of working in the construction industry



The Role

* Job Title: Site Manager
* Project: Various retail fit outs and refurbishments, Nationwide
* Reporting to: Project Manager

Duties

* Health & Safety
* Quality Assurance
* Progress reporting
* Ordering materials
* Updating Site Diaries
* Inductions / Toolbox Talks
* Participate in site discipline meetings
* Management of on-site labour including subcontractors
* Ensure project is delivered to a high standard, on time and to budget
* Working closely with and providing regular reports to the Contracts Manager
* Maintain daily records including progress pictures within project file to support management
* Assist in the preparation of RAMS & ensure they are reviewed and signed off on a daily basis
