MEP Senior Project Manager

The Project

As an accomplished MEP Senior Project Manager / Project Director, you will play a crucial role leading a £60m MEP Package on a large-scale production facility in Ayrshire, Scotland. Your responsibilities will include overseeing all aspects of the package, spanning planning, execution, and delivery.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* CSCS Card
* Degree qualified or equivalent experience

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

* Extensive experience in successfully leading similar projects
* Previous experience in working in a number one Senior Project Manager / Project Director position with an MEP bias
* History of operating on large scale major projects for a specialist MEP subcontractor or leading a similar package for the main contractor

* Strong leadership skills
* Expertise in budget management
* Effective strategic vision and planning capabilities
* Proven experience in building and managing relationships
* Clear and effective communication skills, written and verbal
* Exceptional ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks

Duties

* Determine timelines and manage budgets
* Establishing objectives and defining scopes
* Align management practices with project goals and expectations
* Recognize any potential issues within the project, and solve them effectively
* Communicate consistently with stakeholders, clients and senior management
* Ensure quality standards and relevant requirements are met within each project
* Managing project teams, delegating tasks, offering guidance, and fostering teamwork
* Supervise project budgets and monitor expenses, overseeing adherence to budget limits
* Identifying potential risks, developing risk mitigation strategies, and monitoring risks throughout the project lifecycle
* Generating progress reports, documenting project activities, and providing
