Freelance Site Manager Role

The Project

As a highly experienced Site Manager, you will be required to play a pivotal role in the successful execution of a Live Hotel Refurbishment project, based in Oxford. Overseeing various aspects of this development, you will be required to provide leadership, coordination, and management throughout all stages of the process.



Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* Extensive experience in a Site Manager position
* Hold a previous history of operating on various live refurbishment developments
* SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid

* Excellent time management skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Extensive understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials



The Role

* Job Title: Site Manager
* Project: Refurbishment of a live hotel, Oxford
* Duration: 16 Weeks
* Reporting to: Contracts Manager



Duties

* Create detailed project plans
* Implementing strict compliance with health and safety regulations
* Perform consistent safety assessments, executing measures to mitigate risks
* Oversee and manage project expenditures and uphold adherence to budgetary limits
* Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, permits, and contractual requirements

* Monitor craftsmanship and materials to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications
* Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other trades to ensure seamless operations and enhance progress at the construction site
* Update and maintain precise documentation of site activities, including progress reports, daily logs, safety inspections, and any changes or deviations from the original plan
