Site Manager
The Company
An industry leading Principal Contractor that is committed to delivering high-quality projects across a variety of sectors including retail, hospitality, leisure and heritage. Our client has over 40 years of experience within the industry, predominately covering major refurbishment packages as well as minor new build projects. At current, the business is looking to appoint a Site Manager to deliver build & refurbishment packages on a nationwide basis. The ideal candidate must also be willing to work away as required.
The Role
A highly skilled Site Manager, leading the site team in the delivering new build and refurbishment projects within the leisure sector.
Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications
For this role you must possess the following;
* Experience working as a Site Manager on small works projects (£100k to £3m)
* Previous / current hands-on trade background (Carpentry / Joinery)
* Working in a fast past construction environment
* SMSTS
* First Aid (3 Day Course)
* CSCS Card
Duties
* Prepared to help out on the tools as and when required
* Issue RAMS, toolbox talks and inductions
* Liaising with internal sub-contractors
* Prepare reports for management regarding project status and performance.
* Direct and manage day-to-day operations on construction sites, following project plans, specifications, and safety regulations
* Implement and enforce all aspects of site safety & conduct regular safety inspections
* Monitor and maintain quality control standards, ensuring that all work meets or exceeds company standards
* Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any changes to the original project plan.
* Interact with clients as needed, addressing questions, concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
* Efficiently allocate resources, including site teams and materials
* Complete and record all site / project documentation
