The Projects

As a highly experienced Quantity Surveyor, you will play a significant role in managing various ongoing refurbishment projects, spanning across sectors such as Care Homes, Hotels, and Student Accommodations, based in the Midlands, travelling nationwide to sites. You will be managing the financial aspects of refurbishment projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently, within budget, and to the required quality standards.



Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

* History of operating on a diverse range of refurbishment projects
* An extensive history of working in a Quantity Surveyor position, withholding a construction background



Additional skills;

* Competent IT skills
* Ability to multitask and prioritise projects
* Strong communication and attention to details
* Capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently
* Strong understanding of construction laws and regulations
* Strong ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively



The Role

* Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

* Reporting to: Commercial Manager

Duties

* Recognise potential risks and implement measures to mitigate them
* Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and clients
* Liaise and negotiate terms and conditions with clients and sub-contractors
* Prepare and manage contracts efficiently with clients, subcontractors and suppliers
* Oversee project budgets, ensuring expenses are kept within established financial limits
* Communicate and liaise regularly with team, providing them with regular project reports
* Update and maintain precise records and documentation, related to project costs, contracts and procurement activities



This is a great opportunity for a QS to operate Regionally around the Midlands.

The client will be looking to pay around £55k plus package including car allowance for this role.
