The Project

As an experienced Senior Site Manager, you will play a significant role in the delivery of a large New Build Housing Development in Doncaster. The successful candidate must have recent experience of working to NHBC standards and be able to confidently lead a team, ensuring the project progresses smoothly, stays within budget and meets quality standards.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* SMSTS
* First Aid
* CSCS Card

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

* Strong working knowledge of NHBC standards
* Extensive history of delivering high quality and high-volume housing developments successfully

The Role

* Job Title: Senior Site Manager

* Reporting to: Contracts Manager

Duties

* Health & Safety
* Progress Reporting
* Updating Site Diaries
* Inductions / Toolbox Talks
* Quality Inspections / Snagging
* Ordering / Receiving of materials
* Develop and manage project schedules
* Chairing and participating in project meetings
* Ensure all project documentation is completed
* Ensure compliance with environmental regulations
* Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
* Monitor progress and adjust schedules as necessary
* Assign tasks to construction teams and subcontractors
* Conduct inspections and address any issues that arise
* Interact with clients to provide updates on project status
* Stay informed about local building codes and regulations
* Manage the allocation of equipment, materials, and labour
* Ensure construction activities adhere to legal requirements
* Management of onsite labour including subcontractors
* Address client concerns and ensure satisfaction with project progress
* Oversee project closeout, including inspections, punch lists, and client handover
* Ensure work on the construction site meets quality standards and adheres to specifications
* Reporting in to and working closely with the Senior Management Team and project stakeholders
* You will interact with both construction professionals and the client whilst managing a high pressure and busy environment
