Assistant Project Manager
The Company
A privately owned Fit Out Contractor who undertakes projects for national hospitality clients are recruiting for their operations division. They work with a number of the large chains & businesses on a nationwide basis, delivering high quality turnkey projects across hospitality, commercial & industrial sectors from conception to completion.
Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications
For this role you must possess the following;
* 2 years + experience as an Assistant Project Manager
* Previous experience within fit out & interiors
* SMSTS Site Management Safety Training Scheme
* CSCS Gold / Black Card
* 3 Day First Aid
The Role
In your role as Assistant Project Manager, you'll provide support to the Senior Project Management Team. You will undergo training and development as you contribute to various projects, taking charge of the supervision and successful delivery of diverse fit-out packages within the hospitality, retail, commercial, and industrial sectors, with project values reaching up to £750k.
Duties
* Reporting to the Senior Project Team
* Managing multiple fit out projects in live environments
* Work collaboratively with Senior Project Managers to ensure schemes are appropriately resourced
* Allocate site supervision in accordance with scheme complexity
* Assist with undertaking comprehensive supplier reviews
* Identify cost saving opportunities and develop operational plans for implementation
* Develop a strategy to drive consistency & improve quality of delivery
* Ensure all work is carried out in a safe, efficient manner and in compliance with company specification
