The Project
As an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will lead the delivery of commercial packages on a £50m new build project. You will supervise/mentor Surveyors and provide guidance on technical and professional matters whilst collaborating with other departments across the wider business. You will serve as an integral member of the senior leadership team, playing a pivotal role in guiding the financial strategy, contractual management and commercial success of the projects.

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;
* History of delivering commercial packages on new build / refurbishment projects with build values in excess of £10m+ in a similar position
* Extensive background, 5 years minimum with a proven track record of success on major projects with a proven major main contractor or subcontractor

Duties
* Procurement
* Analysis of tender allowances
* Closely monitoring site activities
* Reporting to Commercial Director
* Preparing material reconciliations
* Cash management and maximization
* Monitoring and overseeing measures
* Preparing and submitting material delivery sheets
* Maintain sustainable and productive relationships with existing clients
* Develop accurate and consistent bids with the help of relevant departments
* Working closely with subcontractors to ensure accurate costs and payments
* Participate in the recording of delays & preparation of any request for extensions of time
* Generate/maintain relevant records, accurate filing and support for all commercial functions
