The Role
As an experienced Hire Desk Controller based in Rugby, you will manage and coordinate all plant and equipment rentals across numerous sites up and down the country. You will support the sales, finance, and operational teams by providing a seamless service to all clients.

Requirements
It is preferred that you hold the experience below;
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Basic knowledge of plant, machinery and equipment relating to the construction industry

* Strong organisation skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to manage and prioritise tasks efficiently
* Superb communication skills, written and verbal
* Knowledgable in hire desk operations and software
* Competent in computer software for maintaining records and generating reports
Duties
* Handle customer requests, orders and enquires
* Handling invoicing and payment processing tasks
* Provide support in monitoring equipment inventory
* Managing customer enquiries and orders efficiently
* Consistently update and uphold precise records within the software
* Act as the main user and administrator of equipment rental software
* Support and communicate with customers, advising them on any queries
* Participating in team meetings and offering insights and pertinent updates
* Liaise with the sales team to ensure orders are delivered to a timely manor
* Providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues or complaints
* Facilitate the generation and processing of invoices using provided rental software
* Create and evaluate reports generated from the software for distribution to customers
* Assisting with administrative tasks as needed to support the overall functioning of the hire desk
* Supervise and monitor order statuses, providing updates to customers and team members as required
* Coordinate with the operations manager to schedule deliveries and arrange other transportation services
