With their dedicated team of site managers, foremen, carpenters, labourers, and in-house decorating division, they ensure seamless execution, bringing the designer's vision to life and overseeing the project until its successful completion.



The Projects

As an experienced Contracts Manager, you will be based in the office in Midlands and travelling to Nationwide to look after Live Care Home and Hotel Refurbishments. The works will vary across the nation so you must be prepared and willing to travel. You will be expected to regularly attend the sites under your management and will be fully responsible for the successful operational delivery of each project.



Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following qualifications as a minimum;

* SMSTS
* CSCS
* First Aid

It is also essential that you hold the skills & experience below;

* Experience of working on similar projects
* Strong working knowledge of working in the construction industry



The Role

* Job Title: Contracts Manager
* Job Type: Permanent
* Project: Various Live Care Home & Hotel Refurbishments, Nationwide
* Reporting to: Operations Manager



Duties

* Managing subcontractors
* Looking after multiple sites
* Draft, evaluate, negotiate and execute contracts
* Demonstrate negotiation and problem-solving skills
* Responsibility with quantifiable results in contract negotiation
* Overseeing health and safety and quality assurance audits on site
* Provide both internal and external contract-related issue resolution
* Manage record keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation
* Communicate contractual changes to all stakeholders, administration and/or management
* Liaising with the end client, local authorities, senior management and other third-party stakeholders
* Monthly reporting to the Operations Manager and attending regular meetings with Regional Directors
* Monitor and complete contract close-out, extension or renewal, as appropriate Communicate contract-related information to all stakeholders
* Coordination and management of tenders, cost-planning and developing in preconstruction and construction phases
* Establish and maintain supplier relationships by serving as a single point of contact for contractual matters
