Site Manager (Cladding)


The Company

A North West based contractor who boasts an impressive project portfolio, they operate all-over the UK, offering a range of construction services, specialising in Façade and External Works. They aim to go above and beyond in order to gain client satisfaction and approval, resulting in long lasting client relationships.

The Project

As an experienced Site Manager, you will assist in the delivery of a £40m High Rise Recladding Scheme across several blocks in Manchester. Your specialist knowledge will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful hand over of the cladding / façade refurbishment. You will play a key role in managing the specialist subcontractors and ensuring works are completed to a high standard, with a attention to detail and strong technical knowledge a key part of this role.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* SMSTS
* CSCS Card
* First Aid (Desirable)

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

* Proven experience successfully managing subcontractors
* Strong history, operating on cladding / façades schemes which hold a similar value of £40m

Additional skills;

* Great communication skills
* Efficient time management skills
* Ability to negotiate professionally
* Ability to manage sub-contractors efficiently
* Holds an in depth understanding of various facade and cladding systems
* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address issues and challenges that may arise
* Knowledgeable in managing software, project scheduling tools, and other relevant technologies

* Reporting to: Senior Project Manager

Duties

* Progress Reporting
* Updating Site Diaries
* Enforcing Health & Safety
* Inductions / Toolbox Talks
* Management of onsite labour
* Chair and attend site meetings
* Quality Inspections / Snagging
* Ordering / Receiving of materials
* Effective Subcontractor Management
* Carry out programme and budget evaluations
* Attending and Participating in Project meetings
