A market leading modular based construction group that specialises in the delivery of bespoke offices, education, healthcare and retail frameworks across the UK.

The Project

As an experienced Freelance Senior Project Manager, you will oversee refurbishment & instalment of an MOJ project. You will interact with both construction professionals and the client whilst playing a pivotal role in ensuring contracts are effectively managed, risks are minimized, and projects are delivered successfully whilst being in a high pressure and busy environment.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* SMSTS
* First Aid
* CSCS Card
* Enhanced DBS Check or EL1 Security Clearance

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

* Recent experience of working on MoJ schemes
* Familiarity with project management tools and software
* Ability to identify and solve problems related to contracts and construction projects
* Strong communication as the role involves interacting with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and legal professionals

* Project: Installation of Modular Cells across UK
* Reporting to: Contracts Manager

Duties

* Implementing risk mitigation strategies
* Managing contract changes and variations
* Analysing cost implications of contract changes
* Tracking all correspondence related to contracts
* Monitoring and controlling costs associated with contracts
* Maintaining accurate and organized contract documentation
* Identifying and assessing potential risks associated with contracts
* Facilitating effective communication between various stakeholders
* Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations by all parties involved
* Providing guidance and training to project teams on contractual matters
* Participating in contract negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Ensuring that contracts are in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
* Keeping up with of changes in laws and regulations affecting construction contracts
* Ensuring that all parties involved adhere to contractual and regulatory requirements
* Identifying opportunities for process improvement in contract management practices
* Managing the contract closeout process, including the resolution of any outstanding issues
* Providing regular updates on contract status to senior management and other relevant parties
* Ensuring that contractors and subcontractors adhere to quality standards specified in contracts
* Conducting site visits to assess the progress of construction
