MEP Project Manager

Our client is a privately owned; leading healthcare technology company with over 20 years in the industry. They provide new modular medical spaces, mobile theatres and building service installation/ maintenance works to live clinical environments across the UK.



The Project

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic MEP Project Manager to lead a prestigious £30m Hospital Extension in South West London. As the MEP Project Manager you will play a crucial role in the planning, execution and completion of the project. You will interact with both construction professionals and the client whilst managing a high pressure and busy environment.

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

* Previous experience in operating on healthcare projects which hold values up to £30m

The Role

* Job Title: MEP Project Manager
* Project: £30m Hospital Extension, South West London
* Duration: 12 Months+
* Reporting to: Project Director

Duties

* Communicate regularly with clients
* Evaluate and approve MEP drawings and specifications
* Manage project budgets and control the cost of all projects
* Liaise with stakeholders and addressing concerns where necessary
* Oversee the procurement process for MEP materials and equipment
* Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects
* Monitor and manage project timelines to ensure on-time project delivery
* Maintaining relationships with MEP subcontractors, suppliers and vendors
* Assist the smooth handover of completed MEP systems to clients upon project completion
* Identify and resolve challenges that may arise during the planning, design, and construction phases
* Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks associated with MEP installations and construction projects
* Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards relevant to MEP systems
* Oversee and carry out health and safety protocols on the construction site, ensuring a safe working environment
