Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Site Manager, preferably with a background in large new build projects (£5 million - £30 million)
* Proven history of long-term employment (5+ years)
* Hold a CSCS Card, SMSTS, and 3 Day First Aid certification.
* Preferably hold a construction related qualification (HND / HNC / BSc Hons etc)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to make decisions under pressure and solve problems efficiently.
Duties:
* Oversee and coordinate subcontractors for a diverse range of construction projects.
* Issue RAMS, toolbox talks and inductions
* Manage construction activities on high-value projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
* Act as the No.1 Site Manager, collaborating with a visiting Contracts Manager.
* Monitor and report on Health & Safety compliance.
* Provide progress reports and program updates as needed.
* Conduct regular site meetings, leading discussions and ensuring effective communication.
* Manage on-site labour, including subcontractors, to meet project objectives.
