Electrical Project Manager

The Company

Our client is a leading and innovative Principal Contractor that is looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Project Manager to their M&E division. The business has over 30 years of experience within the industry and has since onboarded a number of large blue-chip clients, building a large reputation of delivering high-quality electrical packages across retail, logistics and commercial sectors.

The Role

Electrical Project Manager to design, develop and implement electrical packages on a wide range of Retail, logistics and Commercial projects on a nationwide basis.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

For this role you must possess the following;

* 5+ years' proven experience as an Electrical Project Engineer
* Previous experience in managing retail / industrial / commercial projects
* TRIMBLE software experience
* CAD experience
* NICEIC qualified

Duties

* Design, develop, test, and implement integrated electrical control systems and systems components, including switchgear, power distribution systems
* Experience in project delivery and operational data to determine equipment needs and system requirements
* Estimate costs and lead the preparation of bid documents for electrical projects
* Conduct pre-bid meetings with project engineers, architects, estimators, and contractors
* Manage projects through all phases of design, construction, testing, and commissioning
* Manage design changes and integration issues
* Develop project schedules and work plans to minimize construction timeline
* Perform testing and commissioning of electrical systems
* Maintain calibration and maintenance logs
* Documents all work on drawings, diagrams, and test reports
* Conduct follow-up with customer and inspection agencies
* Maintain current documentation
