Permanent Project Manager Role!



The Company

Our client has over 10 years experience who withhold expertise within delivering a range of services which include the refurbishment of care homes, education, student accommodation, hotels and leisure. They ensure to go above and beyond to oversee that all developments are delivered to a high standard and thrive within the construction industry.



The Projects

As an experienced Project Manager, you will be managing Live Care Home Refurbishments mainly in the South. You will play a crucial role within the Project Management team and wider business to ensure that all works are continuously completed to specification, in budget and on time.



Requirements

For this role it is essential that you have the relevant experience as a minimum;

* Experience of working on similar refurb projects
* Strong knowledge of working in the construction industry

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Confident and proactive in managing own work load
* Ability to multitask and prioritize projects under pressure



The Role

* Reporting to: Operations Manager



Duties

* Ordering materials
* Maintaining quality control checks
* Reporting to Operations Director regularly
* Conducting quality and safety inspections
* Reporting on project progress to senior managers
* Signing off and handing completed work over to the client
* Ensuring work is finished to an exceptionally high standard
* Liaising with other sub-contractors and the principal contractor
* Day to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise
* Assist in the supervision of direct employees and agency labour
* Managing health and safety throughout the site including site safety inspections
* Overseeing and managing project schedules and budgets to ensure work is completed on time
