Document Controller


The Company

A leading M&E award winning subcontractor, specialising in designing and installing building services across the UK. The Project

Based in the Head Office in Leeds, you will you will oversee and operate document control software, working closely with the design team to ensure all design information is controlled, documented and issued within set time scales. You will need excellent organisational skills as you will be liaising with internal and external contacts and working with a team of document controllers.



Requirements

For this role it is essential that you hold the experience below as a minimum;

* The use of document control related software 4 projects and A Site
* 3 years minimum experience

The Role

* Job Title: Document Controller
* Duration: 4 Months (Temp to Perm)
* Reporting to: Operations Manager

Duties

* Quality Assurance
* Process Management
* Office and Project Administration
* Assist with the administration of the induction process as required
* Run and administrate the Document Control system for the project
* General office upkeep; photocopying, printing, filing, ordering stationary, etc
* Ensuring compliance with all company documents & procedures is maintained
* Ensure all hard copy documents are scanned to company server maintaining correlation of hard / electronic copies for audit purposes and full document control processes are adhered to
* Extensive knowledge of electronic data management systems, supplier document controls, electronic filing systems, final handover and also technical library (Inc. codes and standards, and legislation)
* General administration tasks such as answering the phone and emails, ordering office supplies, setting up meeting rooms, assisting with timesheets when required, any ad hoc duties
