The Project
As an experienced Liaison Officer, you will be playing a pivotal role on this £20m Road and Pavement Upgrades Development, in Sheffield City Centre. This is initially a temporary position which holds the opportunity of potentially turning permanent for the right candidate.
Requirements
It is essential that you hold the experience below;
* Previous site-based construction experience
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Previous experience in a public relations / community engagement role
* Experienced and knowledgeable in the construction industry health and safety regulations
The Role
* Job Title: Public Liaison Officer
* Project: £20m Road and Pavement Upgrades in Sheffield City Centre
* Duration: Freelance / Temp to Perm
* Reporting to: Stakeholder Manager
Duties
* Update trackers with customer information
* Monitoring the site ensuring no hazards occur
* Reporting any internal or external hazards to site team
* Adress and resolve community concerns or related issues
* Oversee construction safety standards are maintained efficiently
* Assist pedestrians through the site when necessary to ensure site safety
* Maintain up to date records of community interactions, including complaints and compliments
* Responsible for keeping lines of communication open between all parties to ensure the smooth running of the works
* Named point of contact between tenants and contractors, providing regular updates to both parties and managing expectations
