Our client is a skilled contractor who holds over 20 years of experience within the construction industry, they have extensive experience with developments across a range of sectors, however specialise in groundworks, drainage and hard landscaping. They operate in various locations around the UK and hold an impressive track record of safely delivering projects within budget and to a high standard.



The Project

Directly reporting to a Contracts Manager, you will play the crucial role of Site Manager, ensuring the successful delivery of a groundworks package on a £10m New Build Residential Development, based in York, North Yorkshire



Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* SMSTS
* First Aid
* Valid CSCS Card
* Groundworks / Civils Experience

Duties

* Health & Safety
* Progress Reporting
* Management of programme
* Updating Site Diaries
* Inductions / Toolbox Talks
* Reporting to Contracts Manager
* Management of onsite labour
* Chair and attend site meetings
* Ordering / Receiving of materials
* Attending and Participating in Project meetings
